So many to thank

This peaceful scene, sometimes with more clouds, is one we see every evening in Silom‘s backyard. Pandemic or no, it’s hard not to feel lucky.

Jim and I would like to wish all in the Salish Sea and beyond a happy and safe holiday season, and offer thanks to those who made 2020 such a wonderful year despite the pandemic.

Thanks to the staff of parks departments in British Columbia and Washington state, who as always answered our emailed questions with patience and calm, and went out of their way to make sure our information was as accurate as possible.

Our sincere gratitude goes out to the folks at marinas and docks in the Salish Sea who we have gotten to know as friends and who have bent over backwards to help us keep our guides up to date.

Your kindness keeps us inspired.

And, of course, we are so thankful to those who use our guides, and the many users who provide us with feedback and suggestions to make the guides better.

We could not do it without you.

And we look forward to when the border reopens, when our American friends can again share our anchorages and we can return to our old haunts down south.

We look forward to a time when we don’t have to worry about giving you a hug when we see you on the dock and maybe can again share a sundowner or two and laugh together.

Thanks, and please do stay safe.
