Our turquoise sea

What’s turning local waters an amazing milky turquoise colour that you would expect to see in the tropics? It’s a question the Marine Detective been asked a lot on the northwest side of Vancouver Island recently. Of course, you know that it’s a Coccolithophore bloom.
