Orca grieves for calf

This mother orca, known as J-35, has been balancing the body of its dead calf on its nose for seven days as of Monday.

The calf died shortly after it was born on Tuesday off the coast of Kellett Bluff, WA, in yet another loss for the population that hasn’t had a successful birth since 2015.
