Boaters who can’t live without a microwave oven (or other things AC) will be happy that popular Jarrell Cove State Park now has power to one of its docks.

Crews have installed 30-amp power sockets on the south dock. A $6/night charge is in addition to the $0.70/ft ($15 minimum) fee for overnighting on the dock.

The park’s 650 feet of total moorage space on its two docks, as well as 14 mooring buoys, is available on a first-come basis year round.
