Join us with the Voyage Makers

Considering a cruise down the West Coast of Vancouver Island? Join Jim and me on June 18 at Port Sidney Marina from 4-6pm for a presentation on our favourite places to visit on the outside of the island. Following the presentation will be a discussion to help plan your itinerary.

It’s all a part of Voyages in the Salish Sea — a weekly series offering free seminars, talks and training for exploring coastal BC by boat hosted by Voyage Makers, based out of Victoria, BC.

Voyage Makers is making waves as an excellent knowledge source for BC coastal boaters. They offer on-and off-water training and support for power and sail, whether you are experienced or a novice, boat owner or charterer. Just a few of their wide range of offerings are certification courses for individuals or small groups, curated itinerary planning, women-centred training and a rally and barbecue this summer in the Gulf Islands.

Check out their calendar below for a wide range of seminars and fun events such as Keeping your Cool in Close Quarters which offers tips and techniques for successful docking and close-quarters manoeuvring. Their Women in Boating summer social on June 19 will be a fun evening with light refreshments in the company of old and new friends overlooking Victora Harbour.
