Pod A5 returns to Broughtons

“I had a hydrophone going into my house, so I was listening 24/7. Weeks went and then months went by and then years went by and they never came back,” said Alexandra Morton, an orca researcher. “It’s a sign of healing that they have decided its safe to go back in there.”
I am thrilled with the news of the Orca pod returning to their native hunting grounds. I hope there is enough food (salmon and seals) to sustain them, at least for part of the year. They are truly magnificent creatures that deserve our respect and protection.
